Please read before purchasing a puppy from us

ALL PUPPIES COME WITH:

AKC registration. You will receive the AKC registration approximately 60 days after you receive the puppy.
One-year health guarantee. (See below; terms)
Health Certificate. (If puppy is shipped)
Puppy Carrier. (If puppy is shipped)
Ask us about a surprise free gift for your new baby.
Lost or Stolen puppy replacement is included. (See below; terms)
Complete physical examination by a licensed vet. (If the puppy is shipped).
Current shots. If puppy is being held beyond 8 weeks, 2nd round is the responsibility of the buyer.

HEALTH GUARANTEE:

The purchase of ANY puppy is subject to the following terms and conditions.

· All puppies are sold as pet quality only. We make no guarantees of being able to show, breed, weight or height as adults. Puppies are sold as is in regards to color, weight, or size.

· Shot Records: All puppies sold by us will come with current shots up to 8 weeks, deworming and physical exam. The new owner is expected to continue the vaccination as prescribed by their vet. A shot record is included with each puppy. No puppy will be replaced that fails to have the proper veterinary care.

· Initial Exam: All puppies must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of purchasing the puppy. A copy of the exam (not the bill) must be mailed to: House of Pets 3712 Ringgold Rd # 162 Chattanooga TN. 37412 within 30 days of purchase date for any guarantee can be valid. Guarantee starts at the date of actual purchase. If the puppy is examined and is determined by your veterinarian to be unfit for purchase at the exam, you may receive a replacement puppy. A phone call and a veterinairy statement would be required. Unfit for purchase would mean it would mean it was sick within the 3 business days. A fecal exam is required. (see worms below) A replacement will be made if the puppy is not found to be fit for purchase. We do not give refunds of any sort. We do not cover any veterinairy expenses that you choose to incur. A replacement will only be made if the buyer returns the puppy. Shipping expenses of the return or the replacement puppy will be paid by the buyer. Replacement can take up to 1 yr or more.

Worms, coccidia or fleas are not a reason to return a puppy. We strive to deworm and do everything we can to prevent parasites but there is never any guarantee that they wouldn't have them.
Belly or pelvic type hernias are not covered as it does not affect the quality of life.
Congenital or Hereditary Defects: We give a 1 yr guarantee against life threatening defects limited to, heart, lungs, liver. If there is found to be one of these type of defects the puppy and AKC papers would have to be returned before a replacement can be made. If the puppy is euthanized, due to heart, liver, or lungs, you will be given a replacement puppy upon receiving a veterinary statement and a phone call from the veterinarian. Replacement puppies can take up to a year or more and are not covered under the guarantee. One exercised guarantee per person per lifetime. All shipping charges will be paid by the buyer, the return of the old puppy and shipment of the new puppy. No puppies will be replaced if euthanized because of pneumonia, hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, giardia, dehydration, or hernias. A puppy that has problems and is euthanized due to stress because of over-under weight, over-under-exercised will not be replaced. Puppies who do not weigh according to the AKC standard please see below.
Death: In case of death, an autopsy stating the cause of death would be required before a replacement can be made. Can take up to 1 yr. No money is ever refunded. No replacement can be made until AKC registration papers are returned. No puppy is covered that dies of pneumonia, hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, giardia, dehydration, worms or hernias. A puppy that dies because of complications due to stress because of over-under weight, over-under-exercised will not be replaced. All veterinairy expenses will be covered by the buyer. The buyer will pay for all shipping charges of the replacement puppy. The replacement of puppies not within the AKC standard of weight has a limited guarantee. (See below)
AKC Standard: Puppies not weighing within the AKC standard range are subject to review by us concerning the death or euthanization of puppy. If death would happen it would require the autopsy report, if euthanization it would require the veterinary statement and phone call from the veterinarian. This does not mean it would be replaced, just that it would be considered. Hypoglycemia is not covered. Puppies below the AKC standard tend to have more medical problems.
Parvo: We only guarantee parvo if we are contacted within 6 days since they can pick that up anywhere after the puppy leaves us. You will receive a full refund or if you so choose a replacement puppy from a different litter. Can take up to a year or more.
This guarantee is void if puppy is bred before it reaches 12 months old.
This contract is for the person purchasing the puppy. It is null and void if transferred to another person.
In the event that this guarantee is exercised it would be subject to the availability of another litter. It can take up to 1 year or more.
Lost or Stolen Puppy - If your puppy is ever lost or stolen within the 1^st two years of purchasing the puppy you will be entitled to a 40% credit towards another one with us. A police report must be filed within 48 hours. This report must be mailed within 1 week. This is also subject to the availability of another litter. It can take up to 1 year or more.
Application: The application must be filled out correctly and signed before the delivery of any puppy.
AKC registration: Buyer will not hold seller liable for lost papers through the US mail. Every effort will be made to recover them but a guarantee that we can will not be made.
You agree that the sale is made in the state of Tennessee no matter where you may be viewing this site or having the puppy shipped.
You agree to the terms and conditions when you purchase a puppy from us.
Disclosure: Because of the high demand that we have experienced for puppies we have begun to offer puppies for sale from other breeders. All kennels and homes have been inspected. All puppies bought from us fall under our guarantee.

SHIPPING INFO

SHIPPING:

Continental Airlines: $185.00 is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping includes airfare, puppy carrier, health certificate, and transport fee. Very safe and fastest way to get your new baby to you. Shipping can be done all year long. Continental is the only airline to provide air and heat controlled wherever the puppy is transported.
Ground door to door: $400.00 (approx) is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping includes the delivery service from my door to yours and health certificate. Buyer must rent a puppy carrier from the company itself or buy one from us.
Delivery service: Personal delivery door-to-door service is available to select states at the rate of .45 per mile. (This price includes round trip)
Delay of Shipment: We reserve the right to not ship any puppy that we feel that is not ready. Other causes of delay would be, weather, acts of nature, family emergencies, such as sickness, or other members of the family that would require me to be there. You as the buyer should know we are not a big company and sometimes things happen that causes delay. The airport is two hours from us and we have had such problems as flat tires, car breaking down, weather problems. We simply schedule it for another day. See cancellation option below.
Cancellation option: The deposit will be forfeited and a 10% cancellation fee of the total purchase price will apply. If you have paid in full the deposit and 10% fee will be subtracted from the refund. If you have paid a deposit less then the above amount you agree to pay the balance + 10 percent to us. You agree if you paid by credit card that you authorize us to charge the balance to your credit card. If you paid in cash you agree to send us the fully amount within 30 days of receiving a bill from us. Credit Cards or cash refunds are refunded in 30 days.
Other Cancellation: A puppy that fails a vet check and the puppy cannot be shipped, you have the option of either waiting for your puppy to feel better or a refund will be given. This is the only case where a full refund would be given within 30 days. A puppy that is discovered to have worms or coccidia at the time we are to ship we would prefer to not ship, but still can ship because it is not infectious, but will leave it up to the buyer. You must accept responsibiltiy of administering the medicine and realize there would be no guarantee if the puppy were to pass on because of worms or coccidia.
Credit Card chargebacks: If you chargeback your purchase for any reason you will be subject to attorney, arbitration, or other bank fees that this action would impose on us. It is always better to come to a solution rather than cost each other more money.
Other guarantee: We do guarantee our puppies to arrive safely when traveling either by plane, ground, or personal transport. If they fail to arrive safely please contact us with your concern and if applicable a replacement puppy will be made. Shipping expenses would be paid by the buyer.

PAYMENT INFO:

Deposits: A deposit of $300.00 will hold your puppy for 1 week unless other arrangements are made in advance. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason. When you pay your balance the deposit will be subtracted from the total.
Balance + shipping is due within 1 week unless other arrangements are made in advance.
All sales are final in regards to you receiving the puppy, initial exam found to be satisfactory and acceptance has been made.
Rescue: We do and have in the past accepted puppies back if you are unable to care for the puppy, adjustment, marital or landlord problems. We will take them back as a rescue basis only meaning that no money is refunded. Shipping expenses to be paid by the buyer. We always want you to know that the puppy has a place to come back to.
If for some reason we can't deliver to the airport of your 1^st or 2^nd choice then another delivery method must be used. We do not refund money for the puppy because of this. Ground shipping or personal delivery service will be used in this case. Extra cost is the responsibility of the buyer.
This agreement supercedes any other agreement and if any of this agreement is not honored in a court of law in the state of Tennessee, the rest well be deemed effective.
Current guarantee: Our most current guarantee that we have on file will be the guarantee that is in effect when you purchase your puppy. We do not honor guarantees from old web pages.
